United Nations Agency has deployed Actiontec’s VoSKY Exchange gateway to reduce phone charges by enabling PBX systems within agency’s field offices, and at its world headquarters to route calls over the Skype. Calls between UN offices equipped with VoSKY Exchange are now free of charge through Skype. In addition, UN employees who are traveling can call into field offices for free using the Skype software on their computer; and employees in Exchange-enabled offices can make long-distance calls to non-agency users at low Skypeout rates.
